1. Direct Cremation – from £1,799: A simple unattended cremation with no service. Includes collection within mainland GB, care of the deceased, cremation at a Dignity-operated crematorium, and return of ashes. No chapel attendance or viewing included.

2. Bronze Plan – £3,725: Includes a standard wood-effect coffin, funeral director services, hearse to a local crematorium, and provision for family attendance at a short service. Doctor’s and minister’s fees not included.

3. Silver Plan – from £4,498: Adds a higher-quality coffin, one limousine for family, and full funeral director attendance.

Inclusions and Exclusions by Plan Tier

How does Dignity compare to Golden Leaves and Co-Op?

What is the Dignity Promise?

It means that if you pass away after your plan has been active for 12 months, but before you’ve finished paying your instalments, Dignity will still provide the full funeral services included in your plan without asking your family to pay the remaining balance.

In other words, Dignity honours the plan in full after the first year, even if you haven’t finished paying for it — giving customers and their families extra peace of mind.

The Dignity Promise applies as long as:

• Payments are up to date at the time of death.

• The plan has been held for 12 months or more.

• The cause of death wasn’t due to an excluded reason (such as suicide within the first year — full details in the T&Cs).

Dignity Promise - Example: If someone takes out a Silver Funeral Plan at £3,395 and chooses to spread payments over 5 years, but passes away after 18 months, Dignity will still provide all the services covered by the plan. The family won’t have to pay the outstanding instalments and Dignity absorbs the remaining cost.
